Farm gate trail on your doorstep!

Destination Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail is back! On Sunday 13th March local farms are opening for you to come experience country life in the Scenic Rim. Just minutes from Spring Creek, you can meet the farmers, learn where your food comes from and enjoy a range of the amazing local produce.

We have put together our own itinerary below to help plan your day, and it can be used to gather ingredients to make your own fresh pizza!

Spring Creek Beaudesert Itinerary

Follow this itinerary for a trail to gathering the freshest ingredients for a homemade vegetable and camel feta pizza! Don’t forget to bring a cooler!

1. Overflow Estate Winery

The first stop is at the Overflow Estate Winery, where you can pick up your choice of wine and enjoy the scenic views overlooking Lake Wyaralong. We recommend a bottle of the Tempranillo 2018 red wine to match with your homemade pizza.

2. Olive View Estate

You will find olives, olives and more olives right here at Olive View Estate! Take a tour around the working farm and if you’re feeling peckish you can enjoy their old fashioned sodas and apple crumble with ice cream. Don’t forget to pick up a bottle of their olive oil and olives straight from the farm.

3. Scenic Rim Farm Shop

Here you can pick up an array of fresh produce and local items that are straight from the surrounding farms. You can also sit back and relax with a cup of coffee and cake while enjoying the natural surroundings. Select your favourite fresh vegetables and pizza toppings, we recommend grabbing some capsicum, pumpkin and rocket.

4. Scenic Rim Mushrooms

Grab yourself some fresh mushrooms direct from the farm at Scenic Rim Mushrooms! These make a great topping for pizza and you can’t get much fresher than direct from the source!

5. Summer Land Camels

The last stop is certainly not the least! Summer Land Camels are offering camel feeding, camel rides, farm tours and their award-winning fresh camel dairy products. So make sure to pick up some of their Marinated Persian Feta to take your homemade pizza to the next level!
